Darrell Hallett and Robert Chicoine founded Chicoine & Hallett, P.S. in 1983.   The two first met while working as lawyers for the Internal Revenue Service.  Both spent a number of years representing the government in tax litigation.  They discovered they worked well together and had complementary strengths during numerous complex trials.  Bob entered private practice in 1979, and Darrell joined the United States Tax Court as a  Special Trial Judge in 1980.  Thereafter, they decided to team up in private practice.  After clerking for the firm during law school, John Colvin joined the firm in 1991 upon graduation and is now a partner of the firm.  Cori Flanders and Cory Johnson are both associates who joined the firm in 2004 and 2006, respectively.
